This installation was designed as a board game for the age of social media-induced societal division. Different squares representing different ideas were placed in the visitor’s path, and the dice on the board showed how limited the choices of actions are on social media. Our ideas are determined by the affordances and algorithms of social media, and they circulate at a consumption rate similar to fashion brands. At the exhibition, there was also a performance of a “domino effect” where visitors started by opening a door and proceeded to move along the board towards a pitfall.
